This weekend has a surprisingly good mix close to home: the Goleta Lemon Festival, Astro Fest at the Natural History Museum, a free outdoor movie at the Santa Barbara Golf Club, and a free Santa Barbara Museum of Art day with a library card. If you want to range farther, Solvang has an all-ages Skate Fest, Ventura has its huge free ArtWalk, and Pismo has a two-day surf festival at the pier. We also did a much deeper pass on the holiday calendar this week, and several of the high-demand Christmas experiences are already bookable or have now published dates.
